Archive网站历史档案馆是一个非盈利网站，致力于为网上曾经存在的网站建立数字图书馆。与在线实体图书馆相同的经营模式，免费向研究者、历史学家、学者和公众开放。

　　这是一个让人感觉时间流逝的网站。记录了过去辉煌的暂时消失或没落的网站，记录了至今为止生存的网站们多次改版。

　　网站主页板块的第一行放置了网页检索框，上面印着时间机(时间机)这个词，输入网站，点击带我回到过去，用户就能看到历史上网页的样子。

　　2012年10月，网络文件馆收藏资料体积约为10千兆字节。当时这个非盈利数字图书馆正在筹集资金，希望年底前可以购买4千亿字节的存储设备。网络档案馆的收藏资料以每月190T字节的速度增加。也就是说，每5.4个月，档案馆需要追加1千兆字节的存储设备。

　　The Internet Archive is a 501 non-profit that was founded to build an Internet library. Its purposes include offering permanent access for researchers, historians, scholars, people with disabilities, and the general public to historical collections that exist in digital format. Founded in 1996 and located in San Francisco, the Archive has been receiving data donations from Alexa Internet and others.

　　In late 1999, the organization started to grow to include more well-rounded collections. Now the Internet Archive includes texts, audio, moving images, and software as well as archived web pages in our collections, and provides specialized services for adaptive reading and information access for the blind and other persons with disabilities.
